2010 Minnesota Showcase
April 23 -
25 – Plymouth, Minnesota
Team Michigan has had the honor of
participating in the Chicago Showcase for the past 25 years. During this period, Michigan has proven to be one of the top
teams in the Showcase and one of the most respected teams in the
country. After all these years, the
Chicago Showcase has come to an end. Minnesota has decided
to develop a new Showcase for elite players.
As a result, Team Michigan will
compete in the Inaugural Minnesota High School
Showcase which will be held April 23 – 25, 2010 in Plymouth, MN.
The purpose of Team Michigan and the
Minnesota Showcase is to provide a highly competitive event for elite high
school student athletes who play for their respective high school hockey
teams. The Showcase will provide the
opportunity for those players to be scouted by most major hockey programs in
the United States
including Junior A, College, and College Prep.
Many Team Michigan players of previous teams have
benefited from their Showcase experience.
These benefits were reflected in the different hockey levels they
attained, both collegiate and Junior A, as well as the personal experience of
playing for and participating in a highly competitive High School showcase.
